About Me.

Born in Pennsylvania, raised there and in Arizona. Like many people my age, I spent a lot of time gaming growing up. Games like Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, the OG Modern Warfare series, Halo, and countless RPG games like Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age. Many of these game built my love for gaming and my desire to one day build them.

There was one other dream I had that I had to see to first, becoming a US soldier. On my 17th birthday my mother signed the papers so I could enlist early and soon after I was sworn in as a Healthcare Specialist, more commonly known as a Combat Medic. Immediately after high-school graduation I left for basic and AIT. I was then stationed at Fort Campbell KY and soon after I had a 9 month stint in Afghanistan where I was awarded 2 Army Commendation Medals for the medical services I provided.

Soon after deployment I left the service and began to try and find my way in the real world. After some trials and tribulations I finally reached a point where I was content, safe, and most importantly, ready and able to start my journey as a game designer. I have since received my Associates in game design from Full Sail University, graduating also as a member of the National Society of Colegate Scholars. Currently I am still enrolled at Full Sail University in their Interactive Technologies With a Concentration in Game Design Bachelor Degree.

Soon I hope to put the skills I have learned from Full Sail and the perspectives ive gotten from my time in the military to good use making games that players love.

Education

2024-2025

Aas. Game Design
Full Sail University

User Experience Design - Students in the User Experience Design course will examine the design process as well as core concepts and theories used on a regular basis in a professional workflow.

Systems Design - Students will use spreadsheets to record, store, and manipulate data. They will also analyze the data accessed in actual games using the tools covered in the course and then monitor how changes to those data sets affect the dynamics of play.

Game Mechanics - Students will separate complex game projects into modular parts in order to identify the designer’s intent as well as the features that enable the generation of play dynamics and play aesthetics.

2025-2026 (Current)

Bas. Interactive Technologies With a Concentration in Game Design
Full Sail University

Game Mechanics - This course explores the theories and principles employed in rule-based systems within games. Students will learn how pacing and thematic structures incorporate conflict resolution and generate a workable challenge-and-reward system.

Game Systems Integration ‐ In this course, students will work in teams to take an existing game that is partially completed and iterate on its development. Students will perform testing, improve existing mechanics, compare it to its relevant market counterparts, and conduct other tasks to continue to advance the project to completion.

Game Balancing ‐ This course teaches students how to use level design and system design knowledge from previous courses to create projects that capitalize on the strengths of their own designs. Students will also learn about communicating to the player through a user interface.
